John Dalgarn had a passion for two things – his retail business and riding motorcycles.  A true entrepreneur, he never stopped searching for new products and ideas.   He was never afraid of taking risks.  If a show was successful with one vendor booth, the next year he would take three.

He loved motorcycles and appreciated the cool rumble of the Harley and the speed and smoothness of his BMW.  He always said that when he could no longer ride on two wheels he would buy a trike.

Sadly his life was cut short on December 19, 2005, just a few hundred yards from Cooks Corner, returning home after a morning ride.

John will always be remembered by his many friends and acquaintances and is forever a part of Cooks.
